Jerry Mumphrey (born July 1, 1960) is an American former professional football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M University and was selected in the third round of the 1982 NFL Draft.
During his NFL career, Mumphrey was a member of the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Chicago Bears. Over six seasons, he appeared in 71 regular‑season games and recorded 150 receptions for 2,254 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. After retiring from professional play, he has remained involved in football through coaching and community outreach programs.
