Jeff Hopgood (born 13 February 1964) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Essendon Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1980s.
A product of Essendon's junior ranks, Hopgood initially made an impression in the club's reserves team. He was a member of the Essendon Reserves premiership-winning side in 1983, a significant achievement that foreshadowed his brief but notable VFL career.
Hopgood made his senior debut for Essendon in 1984. During his VFL tenure, he played 12 games and kicked 2 goals. Although his VFL career was relatively short, he continued to play at a high level in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) for Port Melbourne after leaving Essendon.
