Javed Iqbal (admiral)

Javed Iqbal was a flag officer in the Pakistan Navy, rising to the rank of Vice Admiral. Throughout his distinguished career, he held several key command and staff appointments within the naval forces.

Among his significant roles, Vice Admiral Iqbal served as the Commander Karachi (COMKAR), a crucial operational and administrative command responsible for all naval units, establishments, and training facilities in the Karachi area. This position is one of the most senior operational commands in the Pakistan Navy.

After his retirement from active naval service, Vice Admiral Javed Iqbal transitioned to public service. He notably served as the Director General of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for Sindh. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing anti-corruption investigations and enforcement efforts within the province.
