Jason Saggo

Jason Saggo (born December 10, 1985) is a retired Canadian mixed martial artist who competed in the lightweight division. Known by his nickname "The Ranger," he is recognized for his grappling prowess and his career in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Early Life and Background

Saggo was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada. He developed an interest in martial arts from a young age, eventually training extensively in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he achieved a black belt. He trained primarily out of Team Tompkins in Ontario, Canada, throughout much of his professional career.

Mixed Martial Arts Career

Saggo began his professional mixed martial arts career in 2008. He quickly established himself as a dominant force on the Canadian regional circuit, accumulating an impressive undefeated record before making his debut in the sport's premier organization.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)

Jason Saggo signed with the UFC in 2014.
