Jang Ji-won (born August 30, 1979) is a South Korean taekwondo practitioner. She is widely recognized for her achievement of winning a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.
Career Jang Ji-won emerged as a prominent figure in international taekwondo in the early 2000s. Her career highlight came at the 2004 Athens Olympics, where she competed in the women's −57 kg category. Displaying exceptional skill and technique, she navigated through the elimination rounds to reach the final.
