James P. Eisenstein

James P. Eisenstein (born 1952) is an American condensed‑matter physicist and the Charles P. Reames Professor of Physics at Cornell University. He is recognized for his experimental work on two‑dimensional electron systems, particularly in the study of the quantum Hall effect and strongly correlated electron phenomena.
