James Orengo is a Kenyan lawyer, human rights activist, and veteran politician who has served in various capacities within the Kenyan government, including as a Member of Parliament, Senator, and Minister.

Orengo is a senior counsel of the Kenyan Bar, a co-founder of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), and has been involved in constitutional reform processes, including the 2010 Constitution of Kenya.
