James Ohrenschall (born October 28, 1974) is an American attorney and [[Democratic Party]] politician serving as a member of the [[Nevada Senate]] for District 21 since 2017. He previously served in the [[Nevada Assembly]] from 2007 to 2015, representing District 12.
Early Life and Education
Ohrenschall was born on October 28, 1974. He earned his undergraduate degree from the [[University of Nevada, Las Vegas]] (UNLV). He later attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, where he received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Following his legal education, Ohrenschall established a career as an attorney.Political Career
Ohrenschall began his political career by successfully running for the [[Nevada Assembly]] in 2006, representing District 12. He served four terms in the Assembly, from 2007 to 2015, where he was involved in various legislative efforts.In 2016, Ohrenschall successfully ran for the [[Nevada Senate]], representing District 21. He assumed office in 2017 and has since been re-elected, continuing to serve in the upper chamber of the Nevada Legislature. As a state senator, he has contributed to legislation on a range of issues affecting his constituents and the state of Nevada.
