James Dale (footballer)

James Dale (born 9 January 1982) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender.

Dale began his career as a youth player at Crewe Alexandra, where he turned professional. He made a number of appearances for Crewe in the Football League, showcasing his abilities as a reliable defender. Following his time at Crewe, Dale moved to Macclesfield Town, another club in the Football League, where he continued to play at a professional level.

After his spell in the Football League, Dale transitioned to non-league football. He played for several clubs in the semi-professional and amateur ranks, including Telford United, Hednesford Town, Stafford Rangers, and Alsager Town. Throughout his career, Dale was known for his solid defensive play and leadership on the field.
