Jakub Strnad

Jakub Strnad (born 20 December 1987) is a Czech professional ice hockey forward. He currently plays for HC Škoda Plzeň in the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Strnad is primarily known for his long tenure and success with his hometown club, HC Škoda Plzeň.

Early Life and Career Born in Plzeň, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic), Strnad came up through the youth system of HC Plzeň. He made his professional debut with the club during the 2005–06 Czech Extraliga season.

Playing Career Strnad has spent the majority of his career with HC Škoda Plzeň, becoming a key player and a fan favorite. His career highlights include:

  • 2012–13 Czech Extraliga Championship: Strnad was an integral part of the HC Škoda Plzeň team that won the Czech Extraliga title, the first in the club's history. He scored crucial goals during their playoff run.
