Jaimee Lovett (born 5 May 1988, in Whakatāne) is a New Zealand canoeist who competed in canoe sprint events.
Career
Lovett represented New Zealand at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, competing in the Women's K-4 500 metres event alongside Caitlin Ryan, Kayla Imrie, and Aimee Fisher. After training together for only 18 months, the crew placed fifth in the final. Earlier in her career, she represented New Zealand as a Youth Olympian in 2007.
Personal life
Lovett is of Māori descent and affiliates to Waikato Tainui and Ngāti Raukawa iwi. She was born in Whakatāne, New Zealand, and stands 167 cm tall. Outside of sport, she has worked as a registered nurse and clinical sister.
