Jaden McDaniels

Jaden McDaniels (born September 3 2000) is an American professional basketball player who plays as a small forward/shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Washington Huskies before being selected in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft.

Early life and education
McDaniels was born in Shawnee, Kansas. He attended Hillcrest High School in Kansas City, Missouri, before transferring to Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas, where he was recognized as a five‑star recruit by major scouting services.

College career
McDaniels enrolled at the University of Washington in 2018 and played one season (2018–19) with the Huskies. As a freshman, he averaged 11.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game and was named to the Pac‑12 All‑Freshman Team. He declared for the NBA draft after his freshman year.
