Joseph Boakye Danquah‑Adu (often abbreviated J. B. Danquah‑Adu; 19 July 1965 – 9 February 2016) was a Ghanaian lawyer and politician. He served as the Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma Central constituency in the Greater Accra Region, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Early life and education
Danquah‑Adu was born in Accra, Ghana. He attended secondary school at the Accra Academy and later pursued legal studies at the Ghana School of Law, obtaining his Qualifying Law Degree and being called to the Ghanaian Bar.
Political career
- Parliamentary service: Danquah‑Adu was first elected to the Ghanaian Parliament in the 2004 general elections and was re‑elected in subsequent elections, serving continuously until his death in 2016.
