Jānis Paukštello (born 31 July 1951) is a Latvian stage and film actor. He is best known for his long‑term association with the Dailes Theatre in Riga, where he has performed a wide repertoire of classic and contemporary roles since the early 1970s.
Early life and education
Paukštello was born in Riga, Latvia. He graduated from the Latvian Academy of Culture (formerly the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music) where he studied acting.
