Iurie Miterev (10 March 1975 – 16 May 2012) was a Moldovan professional footballer who played as a forward. He earned multiple caps for the Moldova national team and scored several goals in international competition.
Club career
Miterev began his senior career in the early 1990s with FC Zimbru Chișinău, one of Moldova’s leading clubs. Over the course of his career he also played for clubs in Russia and other Eastern European leagues, appearing for teams such as FC Alania Vladikavkaz and FC Krylia Sovetov Samara.
