The Iona Gaels softball team represents Iona University (formerly Iona College) in New Rochelle, New York. The program competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Home games are played at the Iona Softball Field located on the university’s campus.
The Gaels participate annually in the MAAC postseason tournament, with the opportunity to earn a berth in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship. The team is coached by a head coach appointed by the university; the current coaching staff as of the 2023–24 academic year can be confirmed through Iona University’s official athletics website.
