Ints Dālderis (born 9 December 1971) is a Latvian saxophonist, music educator, and politician. He is best known for his contributions to Latvian jazz performance and for serving as Latvia’s Minister of Culture from 2010 to 2011.
Early life and education
Dālderis was born in Riga, then part of the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic. He pursued formal musical training at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, specializing in saxophone performance.
Music career
