Ingar Helge Gimle (born 28 September 1956) is a highly acclaimed Norwegian actor with a prolific career spanning theatre, film, and television. He is recognized for his versatility, having excelled in a wide range of roles from comedic to deeply dramatic characters.
Early Life and Education Born in Oslo, Norway, Gimle pursued his acting education at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre (Statens teaterhøgskole), from which he graduated in 1982.
