Inés Alberdi de Rayner (born 1948) is a Spanish sociologist, academic, and public administrator known for her work on gender equality and social policy. She has held senior positions in both Spanish governmental institutions and United Nations agencies.
Early life and education
Alberdi was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1948. She earned a licentiate degree in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid and later completed a doctoral dissertation in the same field, focusing on social stratification and family dynamics.
Academic career
Following her doctorate, Alberdi served as a professor of sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid, where she taught courses on gender studies, social policy, and demography.
