Station Layout The station features two side platforms serving two tracks. It is an elevated station.
History Imagawa Station opened on August 19, 1922, as a station on the Osaka Railway (大阪鉄道). The Osaka Railway was later absorbed by Kintetsu (then Kansai Express Railway) in 1944, and the station has been operated by Kintetsu ever since.
Surrounding Area The area surrounding Imagawa Station is primarily residential. There are local shops, small businesses, and a public park nearby.
