Ilona Prokopevniuk (Ukrainian: Ілона Прокопевнюк; born 29 October 1997) is a Ukrainian freestyle wrestler who competes in the 62 kg weight class. She is a bronze medalist at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships and a two-time bronze medalist at the European Wrestling Championships.
Career
Prokopevniuk became a silver medalist at the inaugural World U23 Championships in 2017. The following year, she achieved her first podium finish at the senior level, placing third at the 2018 European Championships held in Kaspiysk, Russia.
In 2020, she won a bronze medal in the women's 62 kg event at the Individual Wrestling World Cup held in Belgrade, Serbia. In June 2021, she secured a bronze medal at the Poland Open in Warsaw, Poland. In October 2021, she lost her bronze medal match in the 62 kg event at the World Wrestling Championships in Oslo, Norway.
In April 2022, she won a bronze medal in the 62 kg event at the European Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Later that year, she won a silver medal at the Matteo Pellicone Ranking Series 2022 in Rome, Italy, and a bronze medal at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
