Ilkka Herlin (born 1959) is a Finnish businessman and a member of the Herlin family, which holds a controlling stake in the global elevator and escalator manufacturer KONE Oyj. He is the son of the late Pekka Herlin, former chairman of KONE, and the brother of Antti Herlin, who served as CEO and later chairman of KONE.
Following the death of Pekka Herlin in 2003, the ownership of KONE was transferred to his three children: Antti, Ilkka, and Niklas Herlin. Ilkka Herlin has been involved in the management of the family’s investment activities, primarily through the holding company Ilkka Herlin Oy, which holds a significant portion of KONE shares on behalf of the Herlin family.
