Ian Davidson (cricketer)

Ian Davidson (born 20 October 1953) is a former English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played primarily as a top-order batsman.

Davidson played first-class cricket for Northamptonshire between 1974 and 1984. He made his debut against Cambridge University and went on to play over 150 first-class matches for the county. He scored over 6,000 runs, with a highest score of 149 against Leicestershire in 1978. He also played List A cricket for Northamptonshire, appearing in over 100 matches.

Following his retirement from professional cricket, Davidson remained involved in the sport in various coaching and administrative roles.
