Hypsoblennius robustus is a species of combtooth blenny in the family Blenniidae. It was first described by Samuel F. Hildebrand in 1946.
Distribution and habitat: This marine fish is found in the south-eastern Pacific Ocean, ranging from the Gulf of Guayaquil in southern Ecuador to Peru. It inhabits shallow coastal waters in tropical marine environments.
Description: The species grows to a maximum standard length of 3.9 centimetres (1.5 in). It is a demersal (bottom-dwelling) fish.
Conservation status: The IUCN Red List has assessed Hypsoblennius robustus as Least Concern.
