Humberto Elgueta Guerin (born September 9, 1904, Santiago, Chile – died 1976) was a Chilean professional footballer who played as a defender. He is primarily known for his participation as a member of the Chile national team at the inaugural FIFA World Cup in 1930.
Elgueta played for several prominent Chilean football clubs during his career. He was part of the squad for Audax Italiano, a historic club in Chilean football, and also played for Everton de Viña del Mar and Colo-Colo, two other significant teams in the country's football landscape.
His most notable achievement came in 1930 when he was selected to represent Chile at the first-ever FIFA World Cup, held in Uruguay.
