Hrastje–Mota is a municipality (Občina Hrastje–Mota) in northeastern Slovenia. It is situated in the traditional region of Prekmurje and belongs to the Mura Statistical Region. The municipal seat is located in the settlement of Mota.
Geography
The municipality lies on the left bank of the Mura River, close to the border with Austria. The terrain is predominantly low‑lying floodplain, characterized by fertile soils that support intensive agriculture. The area of the municipality is approximately 14 km².
