Career
Hong Dong-hyun began his professional career in 2013, joining [[K League 2]] club [[Gyeongnam FC]]. He spent one season with Gyeongnam before moving to [[Chungju Hummel FC]] for the 2014 season, also in the K League 2.In 2015, Hong transitioned to the semi-professional and amateur leagues of South Korean football. He joined [[Cheonan City FC]] in the [[K3 League]] (then the third tier), where he played for four seasons until 2018. This period marked his longest continuous spell at a single club.
Following his time at Cheonan City, he continued his career in various K3 and [[K4 League]] clubs. He played for [[Gimpo Citizen FC]] in 2019, [[Pocheon Citizen FC]] from 2020 to 2021, and most recently for [[Siheung Citizen FC]] in 2022. His career has primarily involved contributing to teams in the lower professional and semi-professional tiers of South Korean football.
