Holy White Hounds is an American rock band from Des Moines, Iowa. The band was formed in 2005 and is currently active. Their musical style has been described as alternative rock, hard rock, and garage rock.

History and Career
The band self-released their debut EP Oh Mama in 2014, which attracted the attention of local rock radio station KAZR/Des Moines. They signed with Razor & Tie and released their debut studio album, Sparkle Sparkle, on May 6, 2016. The album's lead single, "Switchblade," charted on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, peaking at number 10, and also appeared on the Alternative and Rock Airplay charts.
Their second studio album, Say It with Your Mouth, was released in 2018. In 2020, the band released two EPs: Soak the Master Sessions and Soak the Master Sessions Volume II.
Name Origin
According to lead vocalist and guitarist Brenton Dean, the band's name reflects their self-described identity: "We're dirty but we're not unclean. We're mangy, but you'd still let us sleep in your bed."
