Higinio Ortúzar (born January 1, 1915, Santiago, Chile – died October 23, 1980) was a Chilean professional footballer who played as a forward. He is recognized for his successful career in both Chilean and Spanish football during the 1930s and 1940s, making him one of the earliest Chilean players to achieve prominence in European leagues.

In 1939, Ortúzar embarked on a significant phase of his career by moving to Spain. He played for several Spanish clubs over the course of the next decade, including Barakaldo CF, Athletic Bilbao, and Valencia CF.- Athletic Bilbao: Ortúzar enjoyed a particularly successful period with Athletic Bilbao from 1941 to 1944. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in the squad that won the Copa del Generalísimo (now known as the Copa del Rey) in the 1942–43 season, one of the most prestigious club trophies in Spanish football.
