Herbert "Herb" Christopher is a former American professional football player who played as a [[defensive back]] in the [[National Football League]] (NFL). He played college football at [[Prairie View A&M University]].
Christopher was selected by the [[New York Giants]] in the 17th round (448th overall) of the 1968 NFL/AFL Draft. He played for the Giants for two seasons, from 1968 to 1969. Following his tenure with the Giants, he joined the [[Philadelphia Eagles]] for the 1970 season. Throughout his three-year NFL career, Christopher appeared in 36 regular season games, recording one interception.
