Henry Krug may refer to one of several individuals, most notably an early 20th-century American baseball player and a 19th-century American businessman and banker.
Henry Charles Krug (December 4, 1876 – January 14, 1908) was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the 1902 Philadelphia Phillies, primarily as an outfielder and second baseman, while also appearing in several games as a shortstop and third baseman. Born in San Francisco, California, Krug stood 5 feet 7 inches tall, batted and threw right-handed, and made his MLB debut on July 25, 1902. Over his single major league season, he recorded a .227 batting average with 0 home runs and 14 runs batted in. His professional career spanned from 1894 to 1907, mainly in Minor League Baseball, including time in the Pacific Coast League, Southern Association, and New York State League. While still an active player, Krug died in January 1908 in his hometown of San Francisco at age 31, following surgery for an abscess on his throat.
Henry Krug Jr. (July 9, 1861 – ?) was an American businessman from St. Joseph, Missouri. He entered the meat-packing business at age sixteen and became treasurer of the Henry Krug Packing Company. He also served as vice president of a bank founded by his father.
Henry Krug (died 1904) was a banker and businessman in St. Joseph, Missouri. He became president of a bank in 1893 and served until his death in 1904. The Krug Park and Krug Park Place Historic District in St. Joseph, Missouri, are named after the family.
