Helena Fliśnik

Helena Fliśnik (born 13 February 1932), also known by her married name Helena Fliśnik-Gąsienica, is a former Polish cross-country skier. She is best known for her participation in the 1956 Winter Olympics.

Born in Poland, Fliśnik represented her home country at the 1956 Winter Olympics held in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. She competed in two cross-country skiing events:

  • Women's 10 kilometres: Fliśnik finished in 29th position in this individual event.
  • Women's 3 × 5 kilometre relay: She was part of the Polish team that achieved a 5th-place finish in the relay event.
