Helen FitzGerald (born 1966) is an Irish novelist and former journalist, primarily known for her psychological thrillers and crime fiction. She was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, and graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in English literature.
After completing her studies, FitzGerald worked as a journalist, contributing to newspapers and magazines, including the Irish Times. In the early 2000s she transitioned to full‑time fiction writing. Her debut novel, The Noon Day Devil (2005), received critical acclaim and established her reputation within the crime‑fiction genre.
