Haynesfield

Haynesfield is an American Thoroughbred racehorse foaled in 2005. Bred in Kentucky, he is a bay stallion by the sire Speightstown out of the dam Sister Girl, a daughter of Smart Strike. Throughout his racing career, Haynesfield was trained by Dale Romans and raced primarily on the United States East Coast.

Racing career
Haynesfield competed in 26 starts, achieving 11 wins, 5 second‑place finishes, and 1 third‑place finish. He earned total purse winnings of approximately US $2.27 million. Among his most notable victories are the 2009 Jockey Club Gold Cup and the 2009 Woodward Stakes, both Grade I events.

Retirement and stud duty
Following his final race in 2010, Haynesfield was retired from competition and entered stud duty. He has been used as a breeding stallion, siring multiple offspring that have competed in North American racing.
