Harry Bush (English cricketer)

Harry Bush (born Henry Bush; 27 December 1873 – 25 February 1951) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Somerset between 1896 and 1905. He was a right-handed batsman and an occasional right-arm slow bowler.

Bush made his first-class debut against Lancashire in August 1896, scoring 1 and 0. He played sporadically for Somerset over the next few seasons, never establishing himself as a regular member of the team. His highest score was 88, made against Hampshire in 1898. In total, he played 30 first-class matches, scoring 688 runs at an average of 14.95.

Bush's bowling was rarely used. He took only one first-class wicket, that of Hampshire's Jimmy Wootton, during the same match in which he scored his highest innings.

He was born in Minehead, Somerset and died in Taunton, Somerset.
