Haplochrois chlorometalla is a species of moth in the family Elachistidae. It was first described by the English entomologist Edward Meyrick in 1897. The species is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from New South Wales.

The type specimen (a male lectotype) was collected in Sydney, New South Wales, on 7 November 1878, and is held in the British Museum of Natural History (BMNH). The genus Haplochrois is classified within the family Elachistidae, though some taxonomic systems alternatively place it in the families Agonoxenidae, Coleophoridae, or Cosmopterigidae.
