Hannah Adler

Hannah Adler (born August 15, 1999) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder. She has played for various clubs in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) in the United States, as well as internationally in Sweden.

Early Life and College Career Born in Oakland, California, Adler grew up playing soccer and developed into a highly-regarded prospect. She attended Wake Forest University, where she played college soccer for the Demon Deacons from 2017 to 2021. During her time at Wake Forest, she was a consistent presence in the midfield, known for her technical skill, vision, and ability to contribute both defensively and offensively. Her collegiate career saw her earn recognition for her performances in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

Professional Career Adler's professional career began when she was selected by NJ/NY Gotham FC as the 40th overall pick in the third round of the 2022 NWSL Draft. She signed with Gotham FC for the 2022 season, making her professional debut in the league. During her tenure with Gotham FC, she also spent time on loan with IFK Norrköping in Sweden, gaining experience in a European league.

In 2023, Adler signed with the Houston Dash, continuing her career in the NWSL. She made appearances for the Dash throughout the season. Following her time in Houston, she moved to Racing Louisville FC, signing with the club in 2024, where she continues to compete in the NWSL.

Playing Style Adler is typically deployed in the midfield, where her versatility allows her to play in various roles. She is known for her strong passing range, work rate, and ability to break up opposition play while also initiating attacks. Her tactical awareness and composure on the ball are also notable aspects of her game.
