HMS Flirt

HMS Flirt is a name that has been borne by several ships of the Royal Navy:

  • HMS Flirt (1797): A 14-gun brig-sloop launched in 1797. She saw service during the Napoleonic Wars, participating in various engagements and capturing enemy vessels. She was eventually sold in 1827.
  • HMS Flirt (1840): A 12-gun brig launched in 1840. She was primarily engaged in anti-slavery operations off the West African coast. She was wrecked in 1853.
