HC Oranje‑Rood is a Dutch field hockey club based in Eindhoven, North Brabant. The club fields men’s and women’s teams that compete in the Netherlands’ top‑tier leagues, the Hoofdklasse (men) and the Hoofdklasse (women).

Etymology / Origin
The club’s name is a compound of the Dutch words Oranje (“orange”) and Rood (“red”). “Oranje” references HC Oranje Zwart, whose primary colour was orange, while “Rood” alludes to EMHC, which traditionally used red in its kit. The combined name therefore reflects the heritage and colour identities of the two predecessor clubs.
