The Guldbagge Honorary Award (Swedish: Hedersguldbaggen) is a lifetime achievement distinction presented annually as part of the Guldbagge Awards, the primary national film awards in Sweden. Established by the Swedish Film Institute (SFI), the award is intended to honor an individual whose career has made significant and lasting contributions to Swedish cinema.
The category was first introduced in 2001 at the 36th Guldbagge Awards. Unlike competitive categories, such as Best Film or Best Actor, which are decided by nomination committees and a final jury, the recipient of the Honorary Award is selected directly by the Board of Directors of the Swedish Film Institute.
