Grandia II

Grandia II is a role‑playing video game (RPG) developed by Game Arts and originally published by Enix (now Square Enix). The game was released for the Sony PlayStation in Japan on November 25 1999, and later in North America (April 4 2000) and Europe (July 2000). A remastered version titled Grandia II: Crimson Haze was released for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) in Japan on February 26 2009, and subsequently in other regions.

The protagonists become entangled in a larger conflict involving ancient ruins, a mysterious organization called the Order of the Compendium, and the pursuit of a powerful artifact known as the Grandia.

Development began shortly after the release of the original Grandia (1997).
