Grad is a rural settlement located in the municipality of Brus, within the Rasina District of central Serbia. It is situated in a mountainous and hilly region characteristic of the slopes of the Kopaonik mountain range.
According to official census data provided by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the population of the village has experienced a steady decline over recent decades. In the 2002 census, Grad had 354 inhabitants, which decreased to 307 by the 2011 census. The population is predominantly composed of ethnic Serbs.
The primary economic activities in the village are focused on traditional agriculture and animal husbandry. Although the name "Grad" translates to "city," "town," or "fortress" in the Serbian language, the settlement is administratively classified as a village (selo) and remains a small, rural locality. While the municipality of Brus is known for historical sites such as the medieval fortress of Koznik (sometimes referred to as "Jerinin Grad"), Grad itself is primarily a residential and agricultural community. Detailed historical records specifically pertaining to the village's origin are sparse in major English-language encyclopedic sources.
