Grabów, Żary County

Grabów is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Brody, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north of Brody, 32 km (20 mi) north-west of Żary, and 61 km (38 mi) west of Zielona Góra.

The region, including Grabów, was historically part of Lower Lusatia and had been under German administration prior to 1945. Following World War II, the area became part of Poland under the terms of the Potsdam Agreement. Many German inhabitants were expelled, and Poles, often from territories annexed by the Soviet Union, resettled the area.
