Gottaï (also written El Gottaï or El Gottai) is a village in the commune of Magrane, El Oued Province, Algeria. It is located approximately 28 kilometres (17 mi) north of the provincial capital El Oued, at coordinates 33°38′N 6°54′E, at an elevation of about 36 metres (118 ft) above sea level.
The village has been described as a "minor place" with "indefinite borders." It falls under the Magrane District and lies within the time zone UTC+1 (Central European Time). The Arabic name is القطاي.
