Gordon Korman

Gordon Korman is a Canadian-American author known primarily for his contributions to children's and young adult literature. Born on October 23, 1963, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he began his writing career at a young age; his first novel, "This Can't Be Happening at Macdonald Hall," was published when he was 14 years old and was initially developed as a grade 7 English project. The book launched the "Macdonald Hall" series, which became popular for its humorous portrayal of boarding school life.

Over the course of his career, Korman has written more than 100 books, spanning various genres including comedy, adventure, historical fiction, and mystery. He is also recognized for series such as "Island," "Swindle," "Infinity Ring," and "Marvel's Unbelievable," which aligns with the Marvel Comics universe.
