Gordana Grubin (Serbian Cyrillic: Гордана Грубин; born August 20, 1972, in Zrenjanin, SFR Yugoslavia) is a former Serbian professional basketball player who played in Europe and the United States.
Career Overview
Grubin played the shooting guard position, standing 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in) and weighing 75 kg (165 lb). Her playing career spanned from the early 1990s until 2007.
WNBA Career
Grubin played six seasons in the WNBA for four teams: the Los Angeles Sparks, Indiana Fever, Phoenix Mercury, and Houston Comets. In the 1999 WNBA season, she ranked fifth in three-point percentage. She became the first player in Indiana Fever franchise history, selected as the first pick of the 2000 WNBA Expansion Draft on December 15, 1999. Over 134 regular-season WNBA games, she averaged 7.6 points and 2.2 assists per game.
