Gomer Hughes (13 May 1910 – 14 November 1974) was a Welsh dual-code international rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s and 1940s.

Rugby Union Career
Hughes played representative level rugby union for Wales and Wales XV, and at club level for Tonmawr RFC and Penarth RFC. He played as a lock. He earned 3 caps for Wales (RU) in 1934, playing against England, Scotland, and Ireland while at Penarth RFC. He also represented Wales XV in the "Victory International" non-Test matches between December 1945 and April 1946 while at Swinton (RL).
Rugby League Career
Hughes played representative level rugby league for Wales, and at club level for Swinton, as a prop or second-row. He played for Swinton from 1934 to 1947, making 293 appearances and scoring 16 tries (48 points). He earned 3 caps for Wales (RL) between 1935 and 1940.
