Gmina Pawonków is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Lubliniec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its administrative seat is the village of Pawonków, which lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north-west of Lubliniec and 63 km (39 mi) north-west of the regional capital Katowice.
Geography and Area
The gmina covers an area of 118.78 square kilometres (45.9 sq mi). The landscape is characterized by its rural nature, interspersed with forests and agricultural land typical of the Silesian Voivodeship.
