Gmina Nowa Słupia

Gmina Nowa Słupia is a rural gmina (administrative district) located in Kielce County within the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship of south‑central Poland. The administrative seat of the gmina is the village of Nowa Słupia, which lies approximately 34 km east of the regional capital Kielce.

Geography
The gmina covers an area of roughly 117.7 km² (45.5 sq mi). It is situated on the western slopes of the Świętokrzyskie (Holy Cross) Mountains and includes parts of the protected area known as the Świętokrzyski Landscape Park. The terrain is characterized by a mixture of forested hills, agricultural land, and small watercourses, notably the Wieprz and Lubzina rivers.

According to the latest available data from the Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS) for 2023, Gmina Nowa Słupia has a total population of about 5,800 inhabitants. The population density is consequently low, reflecting its predominantly rural character.
