Glycosmis superba is a species of flowering plant in the family Rutaceae (the citrus family), endemic to the island of Borneo. It was described by the botanist Benjamin Clemens Stone in 1978.
Description: It grows as a shrub or small tree up to 10 meters (30 ft) tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 10 cm (4 in). The leaves are notably large, measuring up to 33 cm (13 in) long. The specific epithet superba is derived from Latin, meaning "splendid," in reference to the leaves.
Distribution and habitat: The species is endemic to Borneo, where it is recorded in Brunei and the Malaysian state of Sarawak. It inhabits mixed dipterocarp forests on clay loam soil at elevations from sea level to 100 meters (300 ft) in the wet tropical biome.
Conservation status: Glycosmis superba is listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species (2022 assessment).
